I am a member of a wonderfully supportive blogging and shopping group called Collective Bias. Through this opportunity bloggers are given chances to work with brands both big and small and get to meet wonderful bloggers from across the United States. Staci Salazaar, is one of those bloggers. If you are interested in reading more roasts; there is a linky full of them at the very end.
Staci’s Roast
Staci’s blog 7onashoestring has several topics associated with it, but as you can imagine from the title; Staci is chronicling her experiences in supporting a 7 people household on a shoestring. In addition to being a frugal blogger Staci shares some of her parenting moments. We all have them, the times in our lives when we say something that sounds EXACTLY like our own parents. Okay well, I know I have them and after looking through Staci’s blog she does as well. Do you have “parenting moments”?
When Staci isn’t blogging
Bloggers are busy people; and the majority of bloggers I know are turning their blogs into an incoming stream. 7 On A Shoe String is no different she works with PR companies, brands, advertisers, and even throws a few Twitter parties – plus she homeschools 2 of her 4 children. I can’t even imagine homeschooling my own boys while they are in elementary school – Staci is homeschooling two high school students and I applaud her. Let’s take a quick inventory of what she does outside of running a blog.
- Homeschools 2 High school students – one of which is getting ready to take college level classes concurrently with high school.
- A Mom of 4
- A Wife of 17 years
- A Christian
- Advocates for Childhood Cancer Awareness
Staci is a super busy mom and blogger and its impossible to chronicle everything she does both offline and online in a single blog post. I will, however, urge you to check out the many places she is found online and to stop by her blog and wish her a Merry Christmas by leaving a comment on her blog. I wish Staci Salazaar of 7 On a ShoeString and each of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
